But one olive tree is nothing compared to what Jerry O’Connell did for then-fiancee, now-wife Rebecca Romijn in 2006. After a trip to wine country, the actor had $52,000 worth of grapevines planted on their ranch. The wine is now available at a few LA-area restaurants.

The most inscrutable extravagant Valentine’s Day gift is the one Courteney Cox gave to her then-husband David Arquette in 2010: an antique carousel horse valued at $45,000. Arquette is a well-known fan of pro wrestling and comic books, so maybe he’s just into kid stuff in general?

Of course, a list of celebrity extravagance would be incomplete without Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Yeezy bought Kim a decked-out $73k Panthere De Cartier cuff for V-Day in 2013.
